Children’s Church is in session September–May, children ages Kindergarten through 6th grade are invited to attend.
The nursery is available for children under 5 years.
All Children are Welcome Here.
Wyatt Park welcomes all children. If a child requires special accommodations, we ask that the family meet with a staff member so we may create an appropriate plan to meet the child’s needs.
Safety is our Top Priority.
We run background checks on all staff, teachers, and volunteers in the children’s ministry.
Staff, teachers, and volunteers are never left alone with children. For accountability, two or more leaders are required to be with any number of children.
When dropping off children if there is only one leader present, we ask parents to wait until the other volunteer arrives.
Check-in/Check-out Procedures
Upon arrival, children check in using the iPads along the wall in the children’s hallway.
The printer will print the child(ren)’s name tag(s), as well as a matching security tag. Security tags must be presented when picking up children.
Curriculum
- Sunday school teachers for toddlers through 5th grade use The Gospel Project curriculum. This curriculum takes our classes through the entire Bible in three years, pointing to Jesus in each story.
- The focus of Wednesday night programming is fellowship with kids and leaders. The evening is filled with games, crafts, and a lesson
Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.”
